Where can I buy Mudex drilling products?

Mudex offer stock locations and direct shipping around the world. Our primary global markets are Asia Pacific and Africa. To find our nearest distribution point, view our contact page. We also have International Partners in the USA, Canada and Mexico. 

Where are your products made?

Over 70% of Mudex drilling fluids and products are manufactured in our 1,800 sqm facility in Canning Vale, Western Australia. Some of our other products are shipped directly from other countries like our Bentonite that comes from Wyoming, USA. Importantly, we store our raw materials on site to ensure continuity of supply. And, if we can’t make it ourselves, we ensure we get the formulation made to our unique specifications. 

Do you have a quality system in place?

Mudex is currently being certified as an ISO 9001 company with a proven quality management system. In addition, all Mudex products are listed with ChemAlert – a complete chemical safety management system. 

Your contact page says there is no stock point in my country - can I buy your products?

Mudex drilling fluids can be shipped in small quantities through to full sea containers to any location. Through our global partners we can offer services on a global scale, ensuring you don’t need to change brands or customer experience. 

Do you supply other products that are not listed on your website?

Yes, we can source many unique drilling fluid solutions which are specific to certain sites. These products are determined during our consulting process and sourced as required. 

Can you supply fluid storage and solids removal units?

Mudex has designed and manufactured a revolutionary solid control unit that only removes drill cutting from the drilling fluid unlike other centrifugal solid control systems.

Do you provide after sales technical advice when required?

Yes, our technical sales team pride themselves on being able to provide our customers with the right information asapWorking with a Mudex product gives you access to highly technical knowhow and 24/7 problem solving and crisis management support via phone, internet and onsite. 

Can you provide our crews drilling mud and equipment training?

Yes, we absolutely can. Through the Mudex Mud School, we offer our clients staff entry level, basic, intermediate, and advanced training courses which are a complimentary service for customers. Learn more about our Mud School. 

Do you provide technical advice and site representation internationally?

Yes, we can provide technical advice remotely and onsite through our international partnerships with Mayan Star and North Star. As a group we work as a single entity to offer site representation according to our international customers’ requirements.  

What is the typical lead time for ‘made to order’ drilling fluids and products?

Generally, we have a 21-day lead time on made to order products. This may change depending on circumstances, but in all cases, we strive to meet our clients’ timelines to keep your important projects on track. 

Do you supply single pallets or LCL orders internationally, or do we have to order an FCL?

We supply our customers according to their needs and are not restricted to any sized shipment. 

Are Mudex drilling products listed on ChemAlert?

All Mudex drilling fluid products are listed on ChemAlert and are current. 

I am not sure if your products are approved for use on our mine site. Can you help in the approval stage?

As mud engineers we love to get involved from exploration through to development, feasibility and grade control. We regularly help our customers with mine site approvals and compliance and we’re still actively involved with some mines now that we started with 20 years ago.  

Do you supply mixing equipment?

Do you sell water testing items or mud testing equipment?

Do you have any calculators we can use to help make decisions onsite quickly?

Yes, contact your nearest Mudex representative for access.  

How should I store your products once I receive them?

Ideally all products should be stored under cover and not in direct sunlight. 

We are tendering for a contract and the client has asked for a detailed mud program, can Mudex provide mud programs?

Mudex excels in drilling innovation and first hand understanding of your needs. Our mud programs start with understanding the unique geology you are operating in before establishing additional parameters unique to your project including: water quality, experience of team, and tooling/equipment. We will recommend the best product and program to get your drill crew through the ground type and ensure the desired result is achieved for the drilling contractor.
