Product Description
COATED BENTONITE PELLETS are compressed tablets made from highly swelling bentonite coated with a biodegradeable non-sticking flim that retards the hydration time of the bentonite. They are lenticularly shaped which allow them to reach the required depth in a well without bridging.
COATED BENTONITE PELLETS are available in 1/4”(0.64mm) or 3/8”(0.95cm) sizes
Applications
COATED BENTONITE PELLETS are designed to fall through standing water columns of up to 160 vertical metres without bridging. The coating film prevents the pellets from beginning to swell for 30 minutes (in fresh water).
Once the COATED BENTONITE PELLETS react and swell they form a chemically resilient, low-permeability, flexible seal.
