Product Description
CLAY-STAR MT is designed for use as a permanent clay/shale stabilizer. The product provides excellent shale and clay control and greatly reduces bit balling and mud rings. CLAY-STAR MT is compatible with all drilling fluids, bentonites, synthetic polymers, biopolymers and Potassium Chloride mud systems.
Applications
CLAY-STAR MT is used as a permanent solution to reactive or swelling clay particularly when used in conjunction with Potassium Chloride and eliminates the need for detergent or thinning agents. The concentration will vary depending on the reactivity of the clay or shale encountered.
