Many drilling fluid products are susceptible to water contamination such as hardness, high salinity, and low pH conditions often found in mine water and bore water. EZY WATER BLOCK’s improve the performance of drilling additives and reduces the concentrations needed by neutralizing calcium, magnesium and other heavy minerals in contaminated make up water. EZY WATER BLOCK’s can be used in all drilling civil engineering applications. Often pre-conditioning of drilling water is forgotten or overdosed, EZY WATER BLOCK’s are designed to maintain a consistent level of treatment and greatly reduce the time taken for drilling crews to spend time at the mixing tank.

Place one EZY WATER BLOCK at the clean drilling water induction point (either at the mixing tank or settling pit) and allow water to flow over the EZY WATER BLOCK before adding drilling fluid additives to the drilling water.

Alternatively, place one EZY WATER BLOCK in the fluid return flow stream per shift as required.

The dosage rate is dependent upon the the flow rate of fluid, volume of treatment fluid and hardness of drilling water. Replace EZY WATER BLOCK as required.
